Fake Security Cameras, Not Better Than the Real Thing

Home invasion, breaking and entering, or even just common vandalism, theft, and robbery are things that everyone needs to be mindful of. There are many ways to go about this and one of the options that are available on the market is fake security cameras.

Fake security cameras are not the greatest answer to home protection however, it is an answer. The one thing you must remember going into a solution such as this is that there are no guarantees for safety. If you are using model cameras you are in a bad situation should something terrible happen.

Not to say you need to have the best home security systems ever invented but you should want to do more than just use cameras for show. Small retail shops use them because this will deter shoplifting in the store because the mentality is given that people who are stealing nickel and dime artifacts might not be too in depth with their camera knowledge.

The best home security systems would not benefit a situation such as this so why spend the money on something of this magnitude when a model camera can be just as effective. Of course this is a different circumstance than your home but it is one example of them being handy.

Fake security cameras are only going to fool people for so long. This seems to be their nature because when CCTV was still too expensive for consumers to afford people would buy model cameras instead. Now with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) being improved upon it is more than affordable.

In fact with this form of surveillance becoming so cost effective it has made some of the best home security systems fade away from the forefront. This is what we see happening to phony cameras.

No matter what you decide to do you should always rest easier once your home surveillance unit is setup and running. If you do not feel any more secure with this in place you might need to find another element to add to the equation like an alarm or motion sensor lights.

This is the problem with fake security cameras. They do not give you the rest easy feeling you are looking for in a home protection unit. Even if the phony system does deter 1 out of a 100 thieves or home invasion attempts it is still 1% more that that of a real secure network of surveillance and burglar alarms.
